Porter Sea Wall Project:
This project included the design and construction of four separate retaining/sea wall structures on the bluff adjacent to Monterey Bay. The project is located on a private property on Pleasure Point Drive within the County of Santa Cruz.

The seawalls consist of steel reinforced structures that are tied to the existing bluff with pressure grouted tiebacks. A finished surface designed to mimic the look of the existing natural bluff was added to the seawalls. The design needed to account for wave pressures and erosion due to large storm and wave events. Permits from the California Coastal Commission and the County of Santa Cruz were required.
